CMR in the Community

One of the best parts of being a canine massage provider is the opportunity to work with great dog groups in the community. Larimer County SARDOC - Search and Rescue Dogs of Colorado - is one such group, and CMR is delighted to donate massage services to these wonderful canines each month.

These dogs and their trainers undergo at least two years of rigorous training before they are certified and become operational. In addition to their training to find people lost in the wilderness, these dogs are also trained to search bodies of water for drowning victims, search avalanche debris for buried victims, search for evidence, and search for trapped victims in disaster situations. We're fortunate to have these dogs and their handlers looking out for us!

"As a handler of an older dog, my ten year old Lab, Bear, I have especially appreciated Jill's efforts. I truly believe that Bear's working life as a search dog has been extended because he has been helped by Jill. Jill's healing touch and deep caring make each of her visits special to us."
Dan Fanning, Northern Area Director, Seach and Rescue Dogs of Colorado
